Life Science Products offers a wide variety of disposable and autoclavable coveralls. Our coveralls are made of non-woven fabrics and include Tyvek, Spunbonded Melt-Blown Spunbonded (also known as SMS coveralls), Polypropylene, and Microporous Film. Information on these materials and their usage is listed below.
Our coveralls are available in a wide range of sizes and styles. A key feature of our coveralls is attached thumb loops at the wrists available in certain styles.
Tyvek® |
Spunbound Olefin fabric is made up of polyethylene fibers that are spunbound to offer excellent holdout of dry particulates and fluid resistance. Tyvek is lightweight and highly resistant to tears and punctures. |
SMS |
SMS (Spunbonded-Melt blown-Spunbonded) fabric has a trilaminate construction that offer high tensile strength and toughness but is also soft, drapable and easy to work with. It provides a good fluid and particulate barrier without sacrificing mobility and comfort. |
Polypropylene |
Spunbound polypropylene is a lightweight economical material that offers protection against non-hazardous, dirty environments. Polypropylene is ideally suited for minimal protection applications and has a low holdout level and minimal fluid resistance. |
Microporous
|
Microporous film is a polypropylene membrane thermally laminated to a polypropylene core. The microporous membrane is smaller than a water drop yet larger then moisture vapor to offer great liquid holdout. |
